I am not sure if my emails are going through. I was getting emails to this account, but then they just stopped. So, I tried my work email and it said I had to have moderator approval.
I have always wanted an MB wagon. I found a 2011 Wagon with 4Matic. It has 103K miles. It is for sale at a local dealer and they have it priced WAY TOO HIGH. They want $14K for it. Kelly BlueBook Retail is about $10K. That is still be too high, but it does look like it is in amazing shape and has lots of service history/records.
I got the Carfax and it has extensive service records. In that last 10,000 miles, they did the following:
Brake Booster Replaced
Transmission Mount Replaced
Vacuum Pump replaced
All of this was done at a local MB Indy that has a great reputation. Then, 5,000 miles ago they replaced the following:
Tie Rods
Lower Control Arms
Sway Bar Links
I don’t know enough about the 212, but have read a lot of stuff that describes it as the most reliable of the modern MB. I know a lot of folks believe the 210 was the most reliable. The 212 wagons look really good to me. Anything in particular I need to check on this? Minor maintenance stuff is fine. I am worried about the repairs that cost $5000 or more.
These are so hard to find.
